Metro Condos, located in the West Loop, Chicago, were created by evan mosaics using Byzantine Glass tessarae. Several art panels , walls, colums, and flooring were created with Byzantine mosaics and porcelain tile. The owners contracted evan mosaics, as they had visited Paris and were impressed by the mosaics in the Metro subway, and wanted an identity for the new condo building inspired by the trip, and architecture in Paris. The Metro mosaics provide a colorful and dramatic motif and identity for the Metro condos.
